NoN-PROFIT

Our mission is to cultivate food and community through regenerative practices and skill sharing that nurtures and nourishes.

Since 2001, this regenerative farm and arts space has nourished the soil and soul of our community.

Urban Homestead Institute, a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization.

A second generation homesteaders/urban farmers we feel blessed to share our modern homesteading lifestyle with so many around the world.

Our mission is to educate and support the community as a resource for resilient and sustainable living in the city. In addition, our hands on learning programs inspire and show how regenerative growing practices and back to basic skills can nurture and nourish lives.

Small actions have a big impact and giving our community access to good food and hands on education will cultivate a better future.

Your support and contributions will enable us to keep on growing our programs.

Help us thrive. Thank you!

“Urban Homestead provides a myriad of benefits to our communities. The Homestead sets a standard for healthy, fresh, organic and nutrient dense food. It teaches children and adults alike about growing and working with tasty food, working collaboratively and being of service, manifesting abundance in a world of growing food scarcity.

The DerVaes family members are role models reflecting the kinder, gentler values of our grand parents and great grandparents. They restore the value of spending time together, growing together, sharing with one another and even making music together. Support people who support their community!”
