Every time I see this picย  I start humming the super funky War tune “Why Can’t We Be Friends?”ย  These two are too funny! Buns really wants to be friends and play but kitty is, well, rather aloof.ย  Prefers to hang with his own kind.ย  Even then, I think Spanky (since he was a “bottle baby”) enjoys the company of humans over his kind anyhow.

Bunsie wunsie tries again, infatuated with our Spanky Boo. He’s still not sure. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey, Bunny, you are on my bed!

Ahhh, more like it! This is MY bed.

How about we share?

Hey fatty, move over a bit will you!

Guess have to sleep by myself. Humpf

I wonder what goes thru their critter little heads?

Care to caption?

Possibly Buns mentioned to Spanky something about his resemblance to a *big, sweet carrot.* This could account for Spanky’s anxious expression, his uneasy posture. They both look cuddly and dear.

These photos are just too cute! In my bunny co-erced closeness experiences, the best way to integrate bunnies (anyway) is at meal times as they are such social animals. I had good success with this method even though it can take a while. Bunnies love to cuddle as you know. I picked up a stuffed rabbit at a thrift store when trying to integrate Bella with my two bonded buns. She groomed, slept with, etc her “buddy bunny” until she got integrated with my other two (that have since passed). She has always kissed, groomed and napped with “Buddy Bun” till this day. I’m happy she still has her “Buddy” to snuggle with we’re busy. Thanks so much for brightening my day!

Such a cute pair… As for a caption, the only thing I think that he/she might be saying is “why can’t we be friends?” LOL… hahah! Cute pics….

Cuties, both of them, Anais. Lucky bunny.
Have a wonderful up coming weekend.

Those pictures are just adorable! Hopefully your cat will get use to your bunny enough to play together. On the other hand who can tell what a cat will do. They are very independent usually. But your bunny seems super friendly.

I am unable to view images on the blog. I wanted to see your rabbit hutches with the vermicompost underneath. Do you still do that? I wanted to add the worms with the rabbits. I understand they don’t like the urine, so I have a plan “B”. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here’s the page I was trying to view: http://urbanhomestead.org/journal/2002/12/11/2943/
