We were on pins and needles for the better part of the morning.  Seems like our entire sites(s) went down somewhere between 3-4 am PST and finally came back online some 9 plus hours later.

Hosting company says everythign should be up and running; however, they have no clue as to why the site(s) went down.

No matter.  Good news is we are back up with fairly little or no data lost.

And thanks to those of you who kindly checked it.  We appreciate your concern.

Whew! Glad you are back. I, too missed my daily ration of Path To Freedom. It’s my usual break time activity at work, as I wistfully look outside my window and wish I were out working in the garden. I can do so vicariously through your posts, and the Freedom Gardeners forum.

Your apple fritters looked heavenly, although my tastes might be changing because of all my gardening, but that SALAD looked divine.

Try to stay hydrated! You and me both (Riverside, CA).

It’s most likely a DNS (denial of service) attack, and they are getting worse.

Thrilled to see its back up and running!!!

Yay, glad you’re back!! I really missed PTF and FG this morning. And I agree, the apple fritters look SCRUMPTIOUS. I have an extra 5# of apples in the fridge right now, might have to consider making some as a special treat (with the -25F windchills we’ve been having, I think I’m allowed a little extra fats and calories, as I’ve been burning so many calories in my walk to/from the bus stops as well as waiting in the cold for the bus. Send some of your warm temps to us poor FGers in Michigan….We’d be happy with one of your ultra warm 80F days, if you could spare one… 🙂

Yikes, glad you saved everything. And I thought it was my blackberry messing up again. And I only checked twice before I gave up and went back to work, hehe.

Something was afoot; I lost all internet access during that one hour time frame . . . I was up ’cause I couldn’t sleep, browsing the news when my ability to connect to the net vanished. . . came back up at about 4:00, but only because I was up did I reboot my weather station, etc. It’s a mystery!

FYI… is down right now (9:35 AM eastern time on 1/17 and has been down the last 5 minutes), but I was able to get in using the URL. In the past, this “back door” method often works for me, so if anyone is checking this post out because they’re experiencing problems with try using one of the alternate URLs like or as sometimes that works for me. 🙂
