THREE TWO ONE BLAST OFF

Houston, we have lift off – well, almost… in just a few hours we’ll say “go flight!”

Sheesh,  I don’t know how I kept the news from you this long but we have finally gotten around to making a few upgrades and improvements around here.

There she is (note screen cap above)

Yep, that’s right we did a bit of organizing and redecorating for your viewing ease and pleasure.   I can tell you that it wasn’t easy – no siree bob.  It was a struggle, bloody battle more like it.  Not to mention long hours into the wee mornings, working on little sleep and hunched over the computer staring into the screen like a zombie – code, code and more code.  It’s gotten so intense around there that Jordanne has started dreaming in code.

Having said that, I think it was worth it.  We lost our old site template in a hard drive accident a few years back, so this new site should, er, IS going to be easier to update.  No more outdated dusty pages!  Whoohooo.  I hate dust, makes me sneeze and eyes water.

Ok, back on topic….

Now, as you know, just as soon as we hit the launch button in a few hours, there will be some issues down at mission control as the new site orbits the world wide web.

The PTF site will be going up in stages (calendar, photo gallery and blog) while we tweak and tweak and tweak again.  So NOT everything will be working like it should, so please, please be patient.

There also will be some issues with links from LHITC to PTF mother site.  We will be working our fingers off to get everything (as best we can) running smoothly but it may take us a few weeks.

Oh, and if you are frustrated with our lack of upgrades and improvements to sites like FreedomGardens.org and LHITC (that’s next) we are too and need your support more than ever.

Thanks and hopefully you’ll appreciate all the work that’s going on behind the scenes as we try to keep up with our outreach to this wonderful online community.

I just watched the Sundance channel! What a great show! It was nice to put a voice to the name! We started our first garden this year, we got a few things, but the bugs and rain for the month of June did damage. I’m hoping to learn more about it this Fall, so next year it’ll harvest more.
Our family wants to get back to living more simply.

    thanks!

The site looks beautiful. Thank you so much for all the hard work and perseverance to see these changes through. It is a huge effort – and I am grateful.

I’ll admit that, like ruthie said above, I also thought there were wedding plans about to be announced:-). That day will come as well!!
