Quince, strawberries, mizuna & broccoli
Yesterday was exceptionally hot (over 80 degrees)! It certainly was a warmer than normal January (I know I’ve already mentioned about it being dry and warm but this dry weather is definitely cause for some concern). Last week we’ve experience sunny skies with temps hovering near or above 80 degrees. This weather pattern will continue into February with no rain on the foreseeable future. Most winters, we hardly water the garden at all, so it’s an unusual winter sight it to see the guys hand watering the raised beds — the soil is so dry.
Thanks for the concern over Jules & Jordanne’s health. Greatly appreciate your positive thoughts! They are doing better and hopefully on the road to a full recovery. When any member of the family is “out of commission” the routine of the homestead gets all out of order and it puts extra work and stress on the rest of the family. Everyone is tired of not sleeping and eating properly and being in state of limbo. It will be good to have them back!
We look forward to a new week ahead.
DIY BAMBOO TRAILER
The design is very simple, very adaptable, and very easy to copy. Its structure also has one of the best strength to weight ratios of any bicycle carrying product, for a given material.
The free plans allow a builder to make a trailer from most materials, with pinned joints, and no bending or welding. Whether its made from titanium or bamboo, this is a stiff light trailer. It can be varied it in width length and strength, and made to fold.
