The evening couldn’t have been more perfect, not too hot, not too cold. It was to time leash up the goats, go to the Lower Arroyo Seco for our weekly goat walk to stock up on oak, pine and sycamore leaves for the goatsies to eat during the week.
While Jordanne was off forging for goat food, I was left to watch the goats. By “watching” it’s not because they aren’t behaved (they are – when we stop they stop) but I mainly watch for any unleashed or unruly dogs. Actually, it’s a perfect time for me to zone out, “do nothing” and the goats pretty much amuse themselves. They like to nibble the brush, take in the sights and sounds and sometimes even a head butting game breaks out!
Don’t know who enjoys the walks the most – us or the goats?
