May 23, 2008 at 7:18 amUnfortunately bringing you clear across country might be a bit of a dilemma, however our church recently installed AV equipment in the worship space. Perhaps a narrated version of the powerpoint, or another fantastic film could be an option for churches. As if you weren’t already busy enough.

May 25, 2008 at 9:12 amI’m so excited to hear of this talk! I wish you could also come to our church! It’s an exciting time at the church I attend which is diverse – we are of mixed race, mixed abilitly (over half of us are disabled in some way) and we are GARDENERS!
Two of us lead a team of 10 gardeners who garden food for the paritioners, most of whom live in group homes. We put nutritious organic food on their table as often as we can. Our mission is Seedtime & Harvest, as stewards of this earth. Recently we installed rain barrels, and continue to improve our sustainability both in the sanctuary and in our garden. Our group is not made up of people who you might think would be traditionally people to lead this kind of movement in a congregation. Yet they are leaders, who strive to get their message across to our church and our neighboring community.
