May 26, 2009 at 6:53 amI’m so glad you’re back! I can’t wait to read all about what’s been happening around there. And that picture is great…everything looks so beautiful. I am envious. I can’t seem to get a handle on the dang earwigs around here. What do YOU guys do about pests? Help!

May 26, 2009 at 9:24 amI know, right? I’m in Utah and I keep thinking about moving to California or Florida so I can grow some of the more exotic fruit trees. I think it would be awesome to have outdoor citrus and pineapple guava… Maybe as I get more experience I will learn how to be successful with these plants in my current environment.
I’ve been thinking about adding an atrium, maybe that’s the answer. 🙁

May 26, 2009 at 9:51 pmI came to the meeting and I liked what I heard! I have taken some of the same steps in my own home. I have fruit trees, front lawn has been removed and replaced with drought tolerant plants, a beehive and an organic vegetable garden. I am on “the path”. What you have done is very inspirational and is an admirable example of how we can all live. I look forward to coming on a visit when you open to tours. Thank you!
