MIRACLE RECOVERY

Our chicken that had a brief bout with coccidiosis is doing better (thank, God… that was close!).  I’ve been diligently giving her Jordanne’s Poultry Feed Supplement that’s full of kelp, garlic and other immune boosting herbs, minerals and so far there’s not been a relapse.

That’s not the only good news we’ve had with hens.

A friend of ours recently had a horrible contagious (and deadly) disease (Mareks) run thru her flock, a few hens had already died and one was still hanging on but was paralyzed.  She was considering the possibility of putting it down but consulted with Jordanne first and after some helpful advice over the phone this is what she had to say….

“… the little chicken that was so sick and could not even sit up and could not walk at all is back out with all the other chickens and going like a house afire. That herbal remedy worked miracles. I gave it to her straight without mixing it morning and night and it took about three weeks of tender loving care, lots of attention, holding and petting and asking her not to die and hang in there and she did and her is a happy chicken again. Tell you more when I see you. She did have to learn to walk all over again after being paralyzed.” – MZ

Almost cried when I read that.   What a blessing it was to be help a homesteader and hen in need.

Maintaining poultry health during the winter is vital to keep the hens healthy and you wealthy in eggs.   Cold and damp weather can contribute to a slew of problems so best fight them off with natural arsenal of garlic, cinnamon, oregano and apple cider.

Healthy hens are happy hens.

I have a Rooster chick that will eat and drink water ,but he won’t get up and move he just wants to lay down all the time and this just recently came on. I am feeding him and the rest of my flock the medicated crumble and the other chicks look fine.
