July 22, 2008 at 12:02 pmWhen we let our goats out to totally freerange the whole place – we have our hands full keeping them out of the fruit trees. (the garden is fenced). Lately, the especially like to decimate the plum trees. Luckily they haven’t yet found our new apple and pear trees further away from the house.

Btw, I just came across this site where goats are used to clear brush in SoCal to help prevent brush fires: elmgoats.com What a great idea!
