LAST POST FOR THE WEEK

Another Batch of Entries

FIVE entries to be exact today, not to mention the multiple posting days this week (13 in the last 3 days – whew, and I probably haven’t even covered 1/2 of what’s going on here on the urban homestead – there’s biodiesel, solar…. etc). Giving our readers plenty to mull over and enjoy with your weekend morning cuppa!

As always (going on 35 years now), Saturday is our day of rest and reflection — no work, no computer. Instead, nature, family and friends time. See you on Sunday with another round of urban homestead happenings.

For those of you who (Ginny, Kaitlin, Anita, Talithia and Derek) posted questions before our journal upgrade and move, I plan on posting ‘Answers’ next week. Those of you who posted recent question/comments I have taken to answering them in the comment box. So I think I covered everyone this week.

I leave you with another of our crazy animal antics from the urban homestead’s backyard barnyard.

For all you goat fans out there…

GOT MILK?

Old fashioned raw milk delivery

bbmcrate-1.jpgBlackberry (a.k.a ‘Blackybelly’ –┬ábecause her stomach jiggles when she walks) sits in a milk crate.

bbmcrate-2.jpg She starts to doze off —zzzzz… how pathetic is that?

bbmcrate-3.jpgJust look at that face… you are a cutie. I put down the camera and give her a kiss.

When life just feels that little bit too serious I always find it useful to spend some time with my animals.

If they can’t make you smile in many cases nothing can.

    Kind Regards
    Belinda

    Hello Belinda

I couldn’t agree more. Each on every animal here on the urban homestead has it’s own personality and they can be certainly very entertaining.

    Blessings,
    Anais
