Fairlight, aka Lady Fairlight or “herladyship”, knows she is the queen of this urban homestead’s household.  Certainly a diva and makes sure everyone is aware of that.  She’s sort of clandestine in her manipulations under the the guise of cuteness she certainly knows how to what she wants.

In the morning she loves visiting the kitchen one because it’s a human domain and nowadays there’s all sorts of tasty morsels she can plead of people with those big doey eyes of hers.   Her favorites are peaches, apples, cabbage, strawberries, well who am I kidding to even write a list!  She likes just about everything!

Fairlight is a real foodie she loves sampling what the urban homestead kitchen has to offer – from hot spicy spanish rice, pickled squashes to brown sugar, even beer!   After her morning nibblings she plops down (crosses her legs – told ya she was a proper lady!) on one of the braided rugs and likes to oversee the kitchen proceedings or do a little bit of cleaning her hooves.

I get such a kick out of seeing pictures of your goats. They seem to be so much like pet dogs. I have a Jack Russell terrier who crosses his front paws like that a lot too.

Just wondering if the goats are house broke? We have sheep and would have a pet goat around the house seeing how well they like people.
