July 22, 2008 at 7:02 amOur poling beans are producing in heaps as well. We actually have both poling and bushing varieties and I am noticing for the first time this year that the poling kind far out-produce the bushing kind. I wonder if this is true for all varieties and if so, why?

July 22, 2008 at 8:07 amThe beans look great. I have baby beans on my bush beans, but the pole beans have not even flowered yet. I like the flavor of the pole beans better. Everyone around here says they are to big of a pain to string. I grow some of both, but prefer the taste of pole beans.

I picked a few tiny ones to taste, and they’re incredible.
