In between canning peach jam, apple butter, gardening and rubbing our goat’s bellies, we hit the launched button as planned at 4 pm yesterday afternoon. It was “go flight” even though parts of the site still are in development not to mention content to edit, add and some sections of the site still need to be plugged in.
If all goes as planned look for a huge new PHOTO GALLERY, CALENDER and an expanded section on URBAN HOMESTEADING in the following day(s.
After that we tackled LHITC with a few improved upgrades for your viewing pleasure. And after that FreedomGardens.org and maybe and maybe Jordanne will actually have the time to possibly find a fellow farmer (referring to a few of our reader’s speculations on her getting hitched) Sorry I was referring to the website not any marriage – just yet. LOL
Oh, and if the site looking a little askew then you are going to have to take time to update your web browser! Because Jordanne is doing her best to make the site compatible on all the new versions of browsers so if you aren’t upgraded then make sure you do.
So keep checking PathtoFreedom.com as we continue to tweak, make improvements and add new sections. I’ll make sure to give you a heads up here if and when we do.

August 29, 2009 at 8:13 amHello,
I really do enjoy your site, and like I said in one of my messages, You have inspired me to take a plunge towards getting back to a more self sufficient way of living. If I may suggest, your hole page is about 3 pages too long. Most people scroll down to about a third of any web page and then back to the top or another page. All the information is necessary, but it would be in your best interest to have it on several linked pages that are shorter. It’s just my experience.
Kind regards
