HOOF TRIMMING

It’s goat pedicure time here on the urban homestead. With the recent rains last week and the ground being muddy today was a good time as any to clean and trim the goats’ hooves.

Just wanted to let you know your adventures helped inspire me to get chickens last year. I added two minis to the house and the 2nd one just started laying miniature pink eggs w/white flecks! So cute! Thanks for the inspiration!

    Hello Crystal,

Thanks for sharing you story with us. Glad we helped inspire another family to keep chickens in their backyards.

Chickens are indeed cute and practical. It wasn’t that long ago when our grandparents generation were raised with backyard gardens and poultry – that was certainly “the good life”. Glad to see the urban chicken movement take off these last couple years.

Thanks again for sharing. We love to hear such postive feedback from our readers.

    Blessings,
    Anais
