Hope y’all are well?     Though the blog has been a bit of hiatus, we’ve been not been idle!  We’ve busy behind the scenes with all sorts of exciting new projects and happenings – we busy growing (such a blessing!).   It’s certainly good to be back and sharing a slice of homesteading life here in the city.

For a few months, we were in the midst of the tedious (pulling our your hair) process of updating our website – 15 years (jumpin grasshoppers) worth of data is a lot – whew!    Over the years the website has grow thru many designs and redesigns.   This time around, we wanted to go with simple, clean and easy to upgrade.  Not to mention, there’s certainly a lot of new happenings to tell y’all about.

I had the task of picking photos to highlight for the pages.  Boy, oh boy, that was an emotional trip down memory lane.  Seeing the homestead transform and evolve these last thirty years brought many a tear to my eye.  Believe me when I tell you I just skimmed the surface of the hundred of thousands of photos to showcase.

Well, without further adieu, please take time to pursue the new site and learn about all the new projects we have going on.  If you see any errors or bad links, give us a holler.  Website work can get you crossed eyed and crabby so extra pair of eyes are always welcome.

Oh, and if you can do us a huge favor.  Tell your family, friends, neighbors that we are baaaack!

Like to thank Jordanne for the long and difficult task it was to make this new website launch happen.  It looks amazing!

And last, but certainly not least.  Our dear friends and supporters who have lifted thru many an encouraging email and prayers.   Thank you all for the love and kindness you have given us.  (((HUGS)))
