Email to PTF: “My sister noticed that your bell peppers (which I gave her) had smiley faces when she cut through them. I thought you’d get a kick out of these photos 🙂 ~ Dermot ~

How funny.. and weird (thanks for sharing these photos, certainly gave us a good laugh)! 😉

Human beings are apparently “hard-wired” to identify the human face and this phenomenon is called “pareidolia: seeing faces in inanimate objects…” (thanks, Dermot, for looking that up too!)

Quoting a popular California Dairy Association commercial “happy peppers (instead of cows) come from california!.”

Received a notice in yesterday’s mail… I tried to email you, but couldn’t due to a problem on my end, so posted at e-neighbors instead. But not sure that you’ll see it there, so came here to comment this morning. Wanted to say that I’m sorry that Jules didn’t win the Garden Crusader award this year… Perhaps in 2006 (if someone else will nominate)?

    Hi Wildside

So nice to hear from you. Love your new “Wildside Musing” blogs. Great posts, thanks for taking the time to share your life with others.

Also, thank you for taking the time to nominate PTF for the Garden Crusader award, even though we didn’t win your nomination is greatly appreciated!

We are blessed to know fellow travelers like yourself. Keep up the good work and wonderful writings. Your presence and postings on the PTF E-Neighborhood is truly a blessing.

    Hi Shannon

Thanks for the comments and sharing the story about your 7 year old – how cute! 😉

Bermuda grass is horrible! We had a battle of our own with bermuda grass and we finally won. It took burying the grass with layers of newspaper and tree mulch. We smothered it to death!

Good luck with your battle against the grass!

I actually find the peppers rather scary. Cool, but scary. Wow.
