We have a fun giveaway to share with you today! As we farm girls know, keeping our hair up and out of the way ( especially if it’s long) and wanting it to look pretty as well sometimes feels like a colossal dilemma worthy of needing a brain the size of a rocket scientist. My goats like to chomp my hair and I’m often engaged in lots of messy jobs; so anything that keeps my hair from dragging through chicken poop when I’m on my knees and scrubbing the coop floor earns 5 stars in my book.
I have a lot of hair, but it’s actually very fine when it comes to the individual strands of hair. This makes it difficult to keep it up with hairclips and hair holders because it slips out easily or the weight starts to pull at the scalp. I tend to use plastic (ugh) clips but I always have a bad habit of keeping them in my pockets. There will be that inevitable “SNAP” and at the end of the day then subsequent dumping of all the little broken pieces out of my pocket.
So, when I was introduced to the Flexi-clip, it appealed to the part of me that loves pretty things. While browsing the site to chose the one I wanted, I admittedly went all girly-girl over all the pretty, sparkly, beady things. I ended up getting the Simple Danglie Flexi-clip in SMALL. The flexi-clip has a unique one-piece design that makes it easy to use, and hard to break—which is important when you break hair clips as often as I do. It fits easily on my hair and keeps the hair under control until I take it out at night. Oh, HAPPY DAY! And best of ALL, it wouldn’t snap into teeny tiny pieces in my pocket.
I was impressed with the Flexi Sizing webpage – there is even a video to help you choose which of the 6 sizing options (mini to x-large) is best for your hair. I followed the recommendations to stay smaller and “trust” the flexi strength and I went with the small size. I had so much fun picking out which design to get. There are so many fun, beautiful options. And Lilla Rose offers more than just Flexi-clips. There are hairbands, bobby pins, and other clips all in the same quality and beauty of the Flexi-clips. I got myself a pair of hairsticks to replace the chopsticks (yes, the eating kind) that I sometimes wear in my hair.
Jackie Adams, an independent Lilla Rose consultant who sent me my flexi-clip, would like to send three of you each a certificate redeemable for a flexi-clip of the winners’ choice, valued up to $15.00 each.
