Tomatoes reach over 4 feet high… and growing.  Spotted several wee little green ‘maters.

Squashes slowing start taking over the garden

Climbing cukes make it up a couple feet on the trellis.  Got a little ways to go there fella.

Beans are up.  Beans and butter are only months away.  Sheesh, my mouth is watering.  The shiny object is a metal trellis placed on the newly seeded raised bed to protect the bed from neighboring cats.

brilliant how your angled cucumber trellises form a tepee of shade for growing something less sun loving (lettuce?) in between. you certainly are clever! thanks for sharing.

Wow, everything looks so wonderful and green. We are in autumn at the moment so it is dry dry dry here.
It is inspiring to see the way you have underplanted some vegies, what is under the squash and cucs?
Thanks for sharing some wonderful pics!!!

Thank You! I clicked through from another blog and lo and behold an answer to my prayers…yes, I pray about my garden.

Anywho, we were wondering how we were going to try keeping four cats out of our new garden bed. The metal trellis looks like a fab idea.

    We’ll try that.

I’m envious, my tomato plants have barely reached four *inches*. The peas are doing well though (having recovered from the rabbits).
