Coming soon – tally widget on Freedom Gardens.

I love seeing these totals! We can’t contribute much now, but soon enough. I am especially happy that my maple syrup got included (and I’m hoping honey later this summer).

I’m so excited to see how the year tally is in Dec.

  3. Shirley says:

Aren’t you a resourseful bunch! Where did you get the maple sap to make syrup? I’ve never made it but read that it takes 40 gal to cook down to 1 gal of syrup. That much steam will take the paper off the walls if there is any.

Also if you can make it there in Pasadena, maybe we can make it here in N/C FL. I always thought it had to get colder than what we have for syrup making. We have many, many, many maple trees nearby.

Curious .. Is this the total for everyone participating or for MrsMeyers? (I’d love to know where it’s cold enough for the sap to be running and warm enough for all that produce!! I’m going to move there!)

  5. Janice says:

do’h! I didn’t know we’re counting “traded/collected from outside source” stuff too! I didn’t weigh in the local gift bananas or the tangerines from the neighbors!

  6. Blythe says:

I’m so jealous of everyone who has been able to get really started on their gardens. Mother Nature is not cooperating with us here in Mid-Michigan. Just got 5 inches of snow last night. I’m going to spend this time getting my seeds started so I can be ready. Go Freedom Gardeners!
