We just been informed by one of our readers that she’s having trouble commenting – after submitting comment receives an “error message.” Any other’s experiencing a problem? Please let us know. Thank you.
Pressed submit & was directed to Windows IE HTTP 500 splash screen, clicked IE’s back arrow & took me back to Comment page w/ my previous test comment & entered again & viewed the W – Word Press – Duplicate Comment detected. Had to press Reload Journal to view my comments. Some bug I suppose in programming as I’m in good company :). I’ll push Submit & on the wild roller coaster again :0.
We upgraded the WordPress platform so there should no longer be any more errors.
I hope so!
Cheers,
Anais

I’ve had the same problem as the others, and thought it was my lousy machine, or my error…so hope you’ve solved the error.

Testing. And while I’m here, when I click on this page, the top part is blank about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way down. Now I have learned to scroll down until the current diary page shows up. But newcomers might not know to do that and think there is nothing here to read! That would be a BIG mistake!

I, too, have a blank page about 1/2 way down, just as Connie in NM (post #17) has. When I first tried to read the new journal I kept scrolling down and found the posts, but originally thought there was nothing posted. Good thing I kept scrolling!
And I had not been able to comment until recently, but I thought it was ME! (I am not very computer-literate) We’ll see if this one goes through.
I enjoy reading all the entries so very much… Thanks!
Carol
Your upgrade has certainly fixed the problem I was experiencing.
Took me back to the orig article with my comment added to the end.
Kind Regards

The problem with the blank page halfway down might possibly be the browser used to view the page, rather than a problem with the PTF site. If I use my older IE (ver 6.0) I get the half-blank page problem, but with Mozilla Firefox the site comes out just fine.
Love the new site – even more inspiring – if that is possible! Thanks!
Now if we can get the “Popular Post” plugin at the bottom of the journal everything would be just hunky dory!
As for the viewing problems with IE, Jordanne suggests (after she did a bit of muttering under her breath about those “blank” browsers!) updating your browser which should fix the problem. 😉
