Looking through the seeds

Wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Film Night & Potluck last night! I learned so much. It seems the more I learn, the more I want to know.
It was an added bonus to see my friend Onil in your family’s documentary.I used to work with him at Disney and it’s great to see what he is doing in his life these days.
Thank you to you and your family, I look forward to the the next one.

Over 90 people attended our latest Film & Food Night featuring Pollen Nation and Homegrown Revolution. We were pleased with the turn out considering we live in tinsel town and our event was up against the biggest event of the year in showbiz.

We were thankful for the donated beneficial wildflower seed packets and pints of  Haagen Daz ice cream that were donated for this occasion.   A big thank you to our volunteers for helping to make this another educational and inspiring event

Also the food spread was just amazing!  People took time to whip us some tasty and delicious dishes and desserts.  Good job everyone!

The Freedom Gardens table was full once again with gorgeous meyer lemons, swiss chard, seeds, duck eggs and so much more.  The swap n trade table is getting to be one of the major hub bubs at these events where folks crowd around to chat, share information and do a bit of swappin’.

New this time around was a table featuring 75 varieties of Freedom Seeds.  It was good to get feedback from people on what they were looking for.

See you all again next month!

I just found out, at a seed swap, that you have these dinner-and-a-film nights. I’ve been looking around your site to get the specifics, and am having no luck. How do I find the schedule? I’d love to come, and to invite the seed swap group, and some other sustainable gardener types.

Thanks so much for all that you do, for the Earth and the living things on it.
