Crazy cows, clucking chickens and porky pigs aren’t a part of everyday life for most high schoolers, but for Fernando Luviano and John Thatcher, it’s all in a day’s work. The Covina High School students learn about agriculture through first-hand experiences on a campus farm more akin to Nebraska than the San Gabriel Valley.
