The picture of your feet at day’s end reminds me of a picture in a Tasha Tudor book of her very own feet. She always walked around barefoot on her farm. Very quaint, very back to the Earth. As always, all of your pictures and articles are inspirational. Keep up the good work! (and when I get refocused on my back to the land efforts, I’m ordering a solar oven!!!)

The feet remind me years ago when I was helping a lady out her husband said to me, “No woman in my kitchen in barefeet.” Being all of 15 I said,”Well here’s the deal, I work for your wife and she does not have a problem with my feet.” I worked the whole summer there in barefeet.
What a neat site. I’ll check back soon. I notice your site mentions tax deductions. I need to read up as to what non-profit work you do. At first I thought this was only a family’s personal garden. I’ll check back later. Good night for now.

Kitchen pic and the signs were fun – but the dirty feet are all too familiar in this household too to be a novelty!
