I didn’t do much in the way of taking photos of meals this week; however, we are still enjoying homegrown favas, potatoes, wonderful assortment of lovely greens and local avocados (thanks R for the special treat!)
SATURDAY
Breakfast – homemade waffles (made with homeraised eggs) with homegrown, preserved peaches
Dinner – homemade whole wheat flour tortillas, homemade spanish rice with organic black beans with homegrown lettuce and organic cheese
SUNDAY
Breakfast – homemade granola
Lunch – leftovers from Saturday dinner with local homegrown avocado
Dinner – local, homegrown avocado sandwich (organic sprouted bread) with raw cheese
MONDAY
Breakfast – homemade granola
Lunch – homegrown fava beans with homegrown potatoes and homegrown greens and homegrown salad
Dinner – same
TUESDAY
Breakfast – homemade granola
Lunch – same as Monday lunch and dinner
Dinner – organic macaroni and cheese with homegrown broccoli, chives, celery with homegrown salad
WEDNESDAY
Breakfast – homemade granola
Lunch – homegrown fava beans with homegrown potatoes and homegrown greens and homegrown salad
Dinner – homegrown fava beans, homegrown greens with organic Ca grown brown rice and homegrown salad
THURSDAY
Breakfast – homemade granola
Lunch – homemade salad with raw cheese sandwhich (sprouted bread)
Dinner – homemade whole wheat herb(homegrown) pizza crust topped with homegrown broccoli, homegrown and preserved marinated peppers, homegrown broccoli and homegrown onion greens with organic (canned) chopped tomatoes
FRIDAY
Breakfast – homemade granola
Lunch – homegrown fava beans with homegrown potatoes and homegrown greens and homegrown salad
Dinner – homemade, homegrown rosemary no knead bread, organic whole wheat pasta with homegrown broccoli and kale, homegrown baby field greens and homemade, home fermented wine made with homegrown grapes

Those homegrown avocado sandwich (organic sprouted bread) with raw cheese look so delicious! Maybe you can tell me how you made them?

Our family just love’s avocados. The sandwich is simple.
1. mash the avocados add fresh lemon juice, chopped cilantro, a bit of sea salt.
2. smother avocado mixture over bread.
3. topped with grated raw cheese, melt in broiler.
4. in summer add fresh slice of tomato
