Native Plants Workshop

Nicholas Hummingbird, Nursery Manager of Hahamongna Cooperative Nursery in Pasadena, will be teaching how to use native plants for landscaping, medicine and food.

The class will instill respect and stewardship for incorporating native plants into the conventional landscape for healing, habitat restoration and sustainability.

60% of the proceeds will benefit Hahamongna Cooperative Nursery programs, propagation and supplies.

Instructor: Nick Hummingbird is the Hahamongna Nursery Manager. Nick has worked on the Channel Islands doing large-scale habitat restoration with the National Park Service and also received training from Theodore Payne Foundation and Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Garden in Claremont.

Cancellation Policy: We understand your plans might change. With that in mind, we have a very simple cancellation policy: regardless of whether you made your registration online or by phone, we will give you credit toward a future program if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead of an event. Credit must be redeemed within 90 days of issue. We cannot give refunds or credits if cancelled with less than 24-hours’ notice or in the event of a no-show. This policy is in effect for all events and classes.
