The garden harvest is really pouring in – JC picked 100 pounds of tomatoes yesterday, the apples and peaches are ripe and falling off the tree, strawberries are still producing, elderberries, squash, pumpkins, beans and loads of cucumbers ( I think someone planted waaaaay to many cukes. *grin*) Soon to come on are peppers, eggplant, okra, guavas, bananas and more.
Our dining room table has become one of the many temporary storage places for the garden’s bounty.
We passed another milestone the other day, haven’t been to the gas station in two months now — one more string cut from dependency on the powers that be.
We have been receiving lots of emails and phone calls of late. One email being fromJohn Roulac, President ofNutiva and author of the popularBackyard Composting book, perhaps we can arrange for him to speak here at PTF.
