RAIN, RADIATION, RESTRICTIONS
Appreciate everyone’s emails and letters of concern over the possible arrival of a radiation cloud that is “reportedly” coming our way. For what it’s worth, here’s what the UN Weather Forecast has to say.
SATURDAY STROLL
After a busy week, boy we sure did look forward to our Saturday stroll with the goats. Saturday is our “Time Out” day in which, for 24 hours, we take ourselves off the clock and away from computers and the like. Nothing de-stresses and renews the spirit a body like a walk in nature with these creatures.
SABBATH ECONOMY
When folks ask “so what’s this about a Sabbath day” I simply tell them it’s a day where we call “TIME OUT.”
So what’s a “time out?” Time out from buying, selling and doing normal work activities here on the urban homestead.
It’s a time for us unwind, unplug, relax, reflect, get outdoors, get with loved ones. It’s about finding a balance in life as we step off of the 24/7 treadmill.
