NOVEMBER HARVEST TALLY & GIVEAWAY
It’s unsettling start to winter but I guess what should we expect as the past couple winter seasons have been pretty mild. Considering many parts of the country are already getting a dusting of the white stuff, we shouldn’t complain!
(62) OCTOBER HARVEST TALLY
Oh, dear, I haven’t been quite the good blogger lately since I’ve been occupying the kitchen! Yep, folks, I’m back in the canning grove again putting up jams, squash pickles, tomato sauces and more as we harvest the last round of the summer crops.

Except for the last few days in August, it was a relatively cool month. It is quite unusual if you ask me to wake up and have to put on a sweater before heading out to chicken/duck house in the morning

Wacky weather whiplash pattern continues. Last week it was a scorching 95 degrees then quicker than you can say “summer’s here?” few days later it’s cold, overcast and raining!

MARCH HARVEST TALLY & GARDEN REPORT
It’s officially Spring and what a rocky start weather wise. We spiked into the 90’s for a few days and then dipped back under 60 with gray skies and drizzle.
