BLESSED YEAR
Our family is extremely grateful for the blessings of a good harvest, health, friends and family. It’s been a year of ups and downs as we struggle on in this life journey.
WILL PASADENA BAN THE BAG?
Will Pasadena ban the plastic bag? “(the) Committee discovered that some 86 million one-use plastic bags are used and discarded in Pasadena alone. Of those, 81 million end up in the landfill, or as litter, every year. ”
FALL!
Happy fall, everyone! Doesn’t it seem like every fall we homesteaders are bombarded with a slew of last minute projects, a flurry of canning & planting and extra activity to get prepared for the winter? Seems like the “to do” list keeps get longer and longer!

There’s a lot happening! I got me a pretty neat old sewing machine, someone brought us a pretty cool windmill (pic coming!) this week and there’s a couple days worth of filming happening. Can’t really say what but should be pretty neat show.
