WEEKLY MEAL WRAP UP
Like I said with Amy's injury the WMWU went on hiatus. I did jot down what we ate the week prior to the incident and hope to have the WMWU back this week sharing with you what we ate here on the urban homestead.
So here's a list of meals we enjoyed before we all got busy caring for Amy. Still enjoying the last bit of summer veggies!
SATURDAY
Breakfast - homemade/homegrown pancakes topped with homegrown strawberries
Dinner - homemade flour tortillas, homemade spanish rice (homegrown onions, peppers, tomatoes) with homegrown sauteed pepper and local avocado and onions (from Farmer S) with raw cheese
SUNDAY
Out
MONDAY
Breakfast - homemade skillet granola
Lunch - leftovers from Saturday dinner
Dinner - homegrown fig tacos (homegrown figs, peppers, tomatoes, cilantro) with organic raw cheese and sour cream
TUESDAY
Breakfast - homemade skillet granola
Lunch - homegrown avocados on toast topped with homegrown tomatoes, cilantro and shredded raw cheese with homemade sauerkraut (made with Farmer S's cabbage)
Dinner - homegrown summer veggies with pasta and cheese
WEDNESDAY
Breakfast - homemade skillet granola
Lunch - homegrown squash, limas, green beans, peppers steamed on top of organic CA grown rice
Dinner - homegrown roasted eggplant, tomatoes, basil with homegrown herb cream cheese spread on toast
THURSDAY
Out
FRIDAY
Breakfast - homemade skillet granola
Lunch - homegrown limas, peppers, squash with organic CA grown rice
Dinner - homemade tomato sauce (homegrown garlic, celery, onions, peppers and tomatoes) with pasta and parmesan cheese
