What a great idea. If grandparents model a different lifestyle the grandkids may bring that into their and their parents busy lives. The parents are still focused on "moving up" and getting stuff. Hopefully the grandparents have been there and seen it is not that great. It does not give what makes your happiest. Time with family and friends or community is generally what gives us the greatest joy.
