TIDBITS

Posted by Anais Dervaes

Now I know this week's entries have been off our regular topics - like what we've been up to here on the urban homestead.  But that's how things go around here and if I do get around to telling about goings on this week - well, there's certainly a story in that.

Anyhow, it's been a busy month for us in terms of interviews, etc.

So here's the latest...

Check out October issue of O (OPRAH) MAGAZINE on page 181 there's a wee little blurb about our "Bite-Size Family Farm."

Also, one of the coordinators for the touring bands with conscious contacted us for some surplus veggies/fruit for Dave Mathews Band preforming at the Greek Theater.  Unfortunately the request came at the time the summer crops are winding down and the fall crops are just being planted.   Though we couldn't produce the produce it was an exciting request nonetheless.

In addition to print pieces, there are some screening news for both HOMEGROWN by Robert McFalls and our little in-home short film Homegrown Revolution.  I will get to that in a later post - it's a BIG list so and there could be a screening coming to a CITY NEAR YOU!

Also stay tuned for interviews with us in October issues of LOS ANGELES MAGAZINE & WHOLE PERSON MAGAZINE.

  1. Now you know that what you have been doing is making an impact elsewhere. Congratulations! You are an ever growing inspiration to me that is for sure. Well Done.

  2. I'm such a groupie! I bought the magazine just to read the little blurb. When you're in O Magazine, you have arrived!!! Congratulations!
