Anais, how do you keep up with the schedule you keep? My schedule is pretty low key as the snow gently falls again today. Another 2 to 3 inches of the best moisture for the soil on the planet accumulates on the ground is scheduled for today. I’m glad to see it come but my urban neighbors …. not so much. I think it’s really awesome that you have so many educating classes on how to simplify life in an urban setting. I’ll just have to be content with starting onion seeds on the heat mat in my nice warm basement seed starting area. So let snow; let it snow; let it snow. 🙂

Have a great California sunny day.

I just accidently found your website while doing research for school and I am truly blown away. You guys are Hero’s! I wish I was born into your family, can’t wait to take a class. I have been organic gardening for years and just recently moved to Pasadena so I have to start all over again. Can’t wait to read more info you have on the site.

The Dervaes family needs to take this show on the road! I’ve yet to find a decent hootenanny in my neck of the woods.

Hats off to Dervaes family. After seeing the videos I got inspired , left my well paid job to grow my own food. Now I am a full time gardner in a small village in Kerala, India. Once again thanks so much for giving us the insight into sustainable living. If you have any programmes in Kerala state of India, please do inform us, I would love to attend and meet you in person.
    Best Wishes to you all.
