FILM & FOOD NITE: CANCELED!!!

Although we did not hold screenings in September or October, we tried to get back to our regular monthly film and food night schedule this month; however, due to the very low amount of reservations had decided to CANCEL the upcoming FILM & FOO NIGHT on Sunday Nov 22
Our short, award-winning film, Homegrown Revolution, is being shown in Venice, CA on Saturday, November 21, and the Dervaes family will be in attendance for a Q&A session after the film (with a possible Sunday obligation, too).
See http://urbanhomestead.org/journal/2009/11/13/homegrown-revolution-screen... for more details.
There wasn't much lead time to advertise and promote this month's film and food night. We were wondering if the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, slow economy,or flu season is affecting the turnout for this event.
So we would appreciate any feedback you have on these film and food nights. We have been holding them for about one and a half years, and we would now like to gauge people's interest in continuing them.
These events do take a fair amount of time and funds. We have to pay a "public screening" fee for each film that we screen not to mention rent a facility which as of September, the rental fee been increased.
Thank you for understanding our need to cancel this month's film screening and potluck. We look forward to hearing your thoughts regarding continuing these events.
Would you be interested in attending a film screening/potluck on Sunday, December 13? If so let us know!
